Kamanda: We have not endorsed Wamalwa

Nairobi - Starehe Member of Parliament, Maina Kamanda has dismissed claims that Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa is the preferred Jubilee candidate for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat.
Speaking to News24 at the Jubilee headquarters, Kamanda refuted allegations that the President and his deputy were pushing the agenda of one of the aspiring candidates.

"We have no preferred candidate and all the candidates should be free to contest as the election process will be free and fair," he said.
Kamanda's remarks come after he hosted a breakfast meeting with Jubilee aspirants in a meeting that was boycotted by Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, Dagoretti MP Denis Waweru and nominated MP Johnstone Sakaja.
