Nairobi - Kalonzo Musyoka is contemplating leaving the CORD Coalition, a Jubilee Party MP says.
According to Mwingi Central MP Joe Mutambo, Kalonzo will leave the Coalition as he does not know his place in the coalition following stories that Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho will be CORD leader Raila Odinga;s vice as he heads into the 2017 elections.
Kalonzo was Raila's running mate during the 2013 polls.
According to Mutambo, Kalonzo is fed up.
" Kalonzo will heed our call to join Jubilee since he has been shortchanged in CORD and he knows it," Mutambo told News24.
According to the MP, Kalonzo knows he has no place in the CORD machinery.
" Our brother Kalonzo knows he has no place in CORD and will be in the Jubilee Coalition by the time elections are here," he added.
Kalonzo has been angered by continued domination by ODM in national rallies , instead of flying the CORD flag and has been said to be weighing his options ahead of the CORD nominations scheduled for end December or early January 2017.
