Nairobi - Wiper Democratic Movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka is headed to Jubilee, Deputy President William Ruto has said.
Speaking during a tour of the Ukambani region, Ruto told the area residents that Kalonzo will join the government after he realised that he stood no chance of flying the cord's coalition Presidential flag in the 2017 polls.
"CORD is so disorganised and it is good that my brother Kalonzo has realised it. The only option for him is to join Jubilee and be part of the government", he said.
Ruto's remarks came after Kalonzo said that he must be in government after 2017 polls and vowed to form an alliance with any party that is capable of winning elections.
"I must be in government and am ready to form a colaition with any party that is capable of forming it", Kalonzo said over the weekend.
The Deputy President was in the Eastern region to drum up support for the newly launched Jubilee Party.
