Nairobi - Kiambu Governor William Kabogo says he will sue 8 Jubilee MPs for defamation.
Kabogo says that he will sue the MPs for insisting that he stated that DP William Ruto will not get Kikuyu votes come the 2022 General Elections.
He says that the MPs are using him to gain political favours from the DP.
" The MPs are using my name to earn Political favour and I will stop them in their tracks," he said Monday.
He stated that he is a supporter of the DP and is confident the Kikuyu people will make informed decisions on their choice for the Presidency come 2022.
" The people will make their choice. Not Kabogo. Kabogo only has one vote like every Kenyan," he added.
Among the MPs includes Ferdinand Waititu of Kabete, and Kimani Ichung’wa of Kikuyu.
The MPs criticised Kabogo over his comments saying that they are out to kill the spirit of the Jubilee Coalition.
