Judiciary offering Tunoi as a sacrifical lamb

Nakuru - Former Eldoret east MP, Prof Margret Kamar has accused the Judiciary of offering supreme court judge Philip Tunoi as a sacrificial lamb in the alleged war against corruption.
Kamar said that Tunoi is being offered as a sacrifice by corrupt judges because he is a soft and easy target.
Speaking on Monday at a Forum in Nakuru town, Kamar said that the entire Judiciary is riddled with corruption and targeting Tunoi is hypocritical.
She accused Supreme Court judges of conspiring to sacrifice one of their own as a means of protecting their dented image.

“They have calculated and arrived at the conclusion that Tunoi is the soft one who can carry the cross on their behalf and that is why they have plotted to finish him but they should be told that if Tunoi goes, they will also have to go,” said Kamar.
Kamar added that the Elgeyo marakwet community is feeling betrayed and targeted because its sons and daughters are being hounded out of top government jobs.
“They finished Gladys Shollei and now they want to finish Tunoi. As a community, we feel like we are being victimized,” she said.
She further said some unnamed people from Rift Valley are also behind the scheme to finish Tunoi so that they can replace him with one of their own.
