Jubilee's dropping popularity fake, State House official says

Nairobi - The recent poll which showed President Uhuru Kenyatta's dropping popularity has disputed by a State House official who feels that it has been doctored.
Dennis Itumbi, a Director of Digital services at the house on the hill was not left amused by the results of the recent poll.
The poll showed that only 27% of Kenyans see the country going in the right direction, with the opposition being preferred to the current government by 58.4% of respondents as compared to 58.1% for the government.
Itumbi though, suggested that the poll was doctored to suit those who had called for its taking place and financed it.
" A poll by Infotrak is as good as its financiers. Several instances have proven that beyond doubt," he said Sunday about the poll.
According to sources though, senior forces in government are worried that the ongoing issues to do with corruption as well as the cash crunch and other issues are weighing seriously on the government.
Some feel that there is need for some action to be taken soon to deal with the bad public perception.
" There is fear that unless something is done soon, the government is going down a bad path where many Kenyans feel left out of the loop and hopeless," a source told News24.
The president recently launched a public committee to deal with the heightened cases of corruption in the country and is said to be keen on delivering something for the President to work with, especially as the 2017 General Elections come closer.
