Jubilee will still beat Raila even if he became the IEBC boss

Nairobi - The Jubilee coalition will still beat Raila Odinga and CORD in the 2017 general election even if he became the IEBC boss.
Former Nakuru town MP, David Manyara said even if the government agrees to the demands by CORD to reform IEBC and make Raila the chairman, he will still lose the 2017 polls.
Manyara, who is also the Jubilee coalition's Nakuru chairman said IEBC is not the problem and that Raila is just afraid of another looming and eminent defeat that awaits him in 2017.
Speaking Sunday in Nakuru town, Manyara said that CORD cannot win elections in Kenya with or without the current electoral board.

"They are now complaining about the IEBC but let me tell them that even if we made Raila the chairman of IEBC, he would still lose the election. The problem is not IEBC; the problem is that he cannot win elections," said Manyara.
"Instead of whining about IEBC, they should be preparing their supporters to accept defeat in 2017 because we are going to embarrass them," he said.
Manyara added that the Jubilee coalition will defend IEBC against any form of attacks from the opposition and civil society groups ahead of 2017.
"We will not allow losers and civil society groups to discredit and fight IEBC without any concrete evidence to support their allegations," he said.
