Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP Ruto have been told that the Jubilee Coalition will likely lose the Malindi by election.
The two principals, it has emerged have been told by their advisers that the Malindi seat will likely got to the opposition CORD coalition.
News24, speaking to a person close to the two leaders and the Malindi campaigns says that there is not hope for the party's candidate Philip Charo.
" The Coastal region is tough to crack and as much as we have put in effort, it is likely to be a CORD win," the advisor told News24.
The DP has spent massive amounts of time in Malindi to restore any confidence in the young Philip Charo.
That said, he has been told that the Malindi seat is dead and buried.
" The party chiefs have been told that a research of the area gives a negative result," the adviser said.
The elections will be held Monday and it remains to be seen whether the ruling coalition will win a positive result.
