Nairobi - The meeting held by Jubilee elected members at State House Tuesday discussed how to counter and tame the ever 'stubborn' CORD leader Raila Odinga.
According to Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri, the Jubilee MPs agreed to use all their political energy in countering Raila who has been giving the government sleepless nights in the recent past.
Ngunjiri said that members of the National Assembly and Senate at the meeting asked the President and his deputy to stop engaging Raila directly but instead let their foot-soldiers do so.

"We asked the President and his deputy to stop engaging Raila on every issue he raises because it belittles them," said Ngunjiri.
"As Jubilee foot-soldiers, we agreed to take the responsibility of countering Raila on behalf of the President and his deputy," he added.
Ngunjiri revealed that the President and his deputy expressed disappointment over failure by Jubilee MPs to defend the government effectively and asked them to be proactive.
"The President is worried that Jubilee MPs are sleeping on the job and this is giving Raila more energy and political relevance," he said.
