Jubilee snubs Waiguru for Sonko

Nairobi - The Jubilee Coalition will snub Anne Waiguru and instead pick Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko to contest the Nairobi Governorship in the 2017 General Elections.
Sources tell News24 that the party will settle with Sonko for the 2017 elections as he is the best to compete with current Governor Evans Kidero.
Waiguru has already declared that she will run for the seat in the 2017 polls but it is understood she will fail in her plans.
" The Coalition will go with Sonko come 2017. That is a fact," the source stated.
" Waiguru has no chance against Kidero and the party knows it," the source added.
Despite the former Devolution CS being a strong candidate in the eyes of some, beating Kidero who has the support of all CORD parties will be tough.
" Sonko is popular already. Building a campaign will not be as tough as it will for Waiguru", the source continued.
