Jubilee secretly funding Mutua's Chap Chap Movement, says lobby

Nakuru - A Nakuru-based lobby group has claimed that the Jubilee government is secretly financing Machakos Governor's new Chap Chap movement in a bid to tame Kalonzo Musyoka.
Nakuru corruption watch group claims that Mutua is being funded by Jubilee to lay structures for his new party before joining Jubilee in 2017.
The group's chairman, Simon Kamau said that Mutua was given money to launch his movement and open offices countrywide by Jubilee.

"Jubilee is the owner of Maendeleo Chap Chap and Mutua is just being used as a proxy to take charge of the movement which is aimed at finishing Kalonzo politically," said Kamau.
"Mutua does not have the money to run a party and he should tell Kenyans whether he is using money from the Machakos County coffers to run his party; EACC should investigate him.
"Mutua is among those who have benefited from the Jubilee's brown envelopes and that is the money he is using to run his activities," he said.
