Nairobi - The Jubilee Coalition offered me money but I refused, an ODM MP has said.
According to Wundanyi MP Thomas Mwadeghu, he was offered the cash to jump to the ruling party just like a number of MP who have since moved on.
But the MOP says that he is loyal to ODM and is certain that the party will be in government come 2017.
" I do not have to go to Jubilee and next year we will be in government," he told News24.
He called on Coastal residents to fully support party leader Raila Odinga's Presidential bid come 2017.
" I urge Coastal residents to register to vote and push the Jubilee Party out of government. Many of those who have been a part of historical injustices are in the party and have no vision to help Coastal residents move on from it," he added.
Mwadeghu spoke to News24 after CORD leader Raila Odinga had toured his constituency Wednesday.
