Jubilee MPs want Raila arrested for Eurobond 'lies'

Nairobi - Jubilee Coalition MPs have called for CORD leader Raila Odinga to be arrested if his claims over Eurobond theft are found to be inaccurate.
Led by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, the MPs have said that they are unhappy with the continued barrage by the CORD leader on the government over the use of the KES 250 billion bond.
They have insisted that if Treasury CS Henry Rotich is cleared by the EACC, then Raila should be charged with perjury.
" If Rotich is cleared then we demand that he be arrested and charged with lying to Kenyans as well as economic sabotage," Kuria said Tuesday at Parliament buildings.
He also called on Raila to stop politicking and instead let the government work.
" He has made so much noise for a number of years. He should let the government work and meet them at the polls in 2017," he added.
His Kikuyu counterpart Kimani Ichungwa stated that Raila needs to be taken to task for economic sabotage.
" This has been economic sabotage of the highest order and Police need to look into this matter as soon as possible and let him explain his comments," he stated.
Raila has been invited to the EACC Thursday to explain what he knows about the Eurobond saga.
The government has insisted that the funds have been used in the right manner.
