Jubilee MPs dismiss rigging claims by CORD

Nyeri - Jubilee Party Members of Parliament have hit out at Opposition leaders over their claims that there were plans to rig the 2017 elections.
Speaking in Mathira Nyeri, the MPs said accusations by their CORD counterparts are ‘mere propaganda since they are confident of winning the elections’.
Led by Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa and Ferdinand Waititu (Kabete), the leaders said Jubilee Party has no intentions to rig the upcoming elections.
Waititu said Jubilee Party has majority supporters in the country and that President Uhuru Kenyatta will win with a landslide.
Cord leaders recently accused Jubilee of planning to rig the elections through use of churches to register voters instead of letting the electoral body perform its mandate.
