Nyeri -The chairman of Parliamentary committee of Defense and Foreign Relations, Ndung’u Gethenji has asked police to arrest Opposition leader Raila Odinga over alleged incitement.
Gethenji urged director of Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID), Ndegwa Muhoro to order the ODM leader record a police statement for his utterances calling for a mass action to forcefully evict current IEBC Commissioners.
The Tetu MP termed the sentiments as dishonor to the country saying they can lead to ethnic violence.
While addressing a press conference at Outspan hotel Nyeri, Gethenji insisted that if Raila is not arrested they will take action as the ruling coalition.
He stated that other leaders have been summoned and charged in court and it should also happen to Raila.
