Jubilee MP threatens to join KANU

Nairobi - A Jubilee Coalition MP who is a close ally of DP William Ruto's has threatened to quit the ruling bourse for KANU.
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi says that the ruling coalition has let down Kenyans and that he will support the opposition parties in the run up to the 2017 elections.
He also says that he will support KANU candidate Paul Sang in the upcoming Kericho by election saying that Jubilee candidate Aaron Cheruiyot is not good enough.
The MPs claimed that the Jubilee administration has failed to fulfil development projects they had pledged to Rift Valley residents in 2013.
" They have failed us and they know it and we know it. Why should we support them," Sudi said Friday.
In a telephone interview with News24, Sudi said he would consider other options unless things improved.
" I am a Jubilee person and that does not change now but we have to seriously think about our future if the government does not improve the services it is providing to Kenyans," he stated.
He said that he had no issue with DP Ruto apart from the development record.
" We want our people to see that we are in a good place and that we are making the right decisions. Unless we do so we are letting them down too," he added.
The Kericho by election takes place March 7 and will be a huge pointer as to where the political patterns in the Rift Valley are heading towards.
