Jubilee MP tells Ruto to keep off CORD affairs

Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto has been asked to keep off the affairs of the opposition coalition CORD.
Kuresoi south MP Zakayo Cheruiyot said that it is wrong for Ruto to be always commenting on issues affecting CORD when he is not a member of the coalition.
Speaking Monday in Nakuru, Cheruiyot said that the DP should concentrate on building the Jubilee party rather than waste time talking about CORD.
He said what the DP is doing is like someone laughing at his enemy's burning house.

"My friend the deputy President is wasting a lot of time talking about CORD and commenting on issues that do not concern him. He should let CORD handle their own issues because they have not asked for his opinion. He seems happy with the problems facing CORD and that is just like someone laughing at his neighbour's burning house which is wrong," said Cheruiyot.
The MP added that Ruto should learn from President Uhuru Kenyatta who hardly comments on opposition issues.
Ruto was recently heard saying that ODM secretary general Ababu Namwamba was free to make his own decisions about his future in the orange party.
Reports had emerged that the DP had used billions of shillings to buy Ababu out of the Raila Odinga led party.
Both Ruto and Ababu have however rubbished the claims.
