Nairobi - A Jubilee Party MP has received a warning letter for quitting his own party for the ruling coalition.
The MP, Malava's Malulu Injendi has been sent a warning letter by his party for joining the Jubilee Party.
His parent party the Maendeleo Democratic Party (MDP) has asked him to state why he should not be expelled for dating a different party.
leader Amisi Omukanda has written to the MP twice, asking him to explain why
disciplinary measures should not be taken against him for promoting the
activities of another outfit.
" This letter has been sent to you seeking explanation over your public actions in recent times," the letter read in part.
But according to Injendi who spoke to News24, the threats are empty.
" The threats are empty. They can take me where they want to but I am a member of Jubilee," he stated.
The MP, if reported, will join another 13 from ODM who face similar actions for absconding the orange party.
