Jubilee MP asks Uhuru to sack Keter for engaging in active politics

Nairobi - Molo member of Parliament Jacob Macharia now wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to fire energy CS Charles Keter for engaging in active politics in total disregard of the constitution.
Macharia said that it was wrong for Keter to actively participate in the Kericho senetarial by election campaigns being a cabinet secretary.

Macharia said that disobeying the constitution by cabinet secretaries has become common something he said is portraying the president in bad light.
Speaking Wednesday at Nakuru town Macharia said that the president should sent Keter home to show the country that he is in deed protecting the constitution he vowed to protect.
"It was wrong for Keter being a CS to take sides in the by election in Kericho and the president should protect the constitution by sending him home so that he can serve a lesson to others like him who disobey the law openly and knowingly,"said Macharia.
"When CS's disobey the constitution ,its the President they are portraying in bad light and the president should guard his name by punishing his officers who fail to follow the law,"he added.
