Nairobi - Bomet governor has launched his newly formed Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party ahead of the 2017 polls.
Speaking during the launch of the party,Ruto said that he wants to promote democracy and grass root development in the region as Jubilee coalition has failed to safeguard devolution.
"Jubilee has failed to increase allocation to the counties to 45% as agreed and that is why CCM was formed. We want to promote democracy and we have aright to form a party",he said.
Ruto also took issue with the Deputy President William Ruto saying that he was promoting dictatorship within the region.
"He wants to force people to join Jubilee Party and yet we were not consulted. We will not tolerate dictatorship that we fought hard", he said.
