Jubilee leader accuses Sonko of sending youths to disrupt his rallies

Nairobi - Water CS Eugene Wamalwa has accused Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko of sending youths to disrupt his functions.
The CS has announced he will vie for the Jubilee ticket to take on Evans Kidero in the 2017 race for the Nairobi Governor's seat.
He has tough competition in the face of Sonko and MPs Dennis Waweru and Johnson Sakaja but the CS is annoyed that he has been heckled in two functions that he has attended in the city in recent weeks by purported Sonko supporters.
The CS is not happy.
" The CS has been heckled twice during functions and is not happy at all. They are Sonko supporters as well," an aide of the CS told News24.
Sonko is insanely popular within the city and the CS has how work cut out to usurp him, even though word on the street is that he has earned direct nomination for the seat.
The Jubilee Coalition has denied the allegations.
" There is no free ticket in Jubilee. You have to go to the people," DP William Ruto said in Nairobi Monday.
Sonko though, says he is not aware of the disruptions.
" I do not know anything about it," the Senator remarked to News24.
The Jubilee Party nominations will be held in February 2017.
