Nairobi - No one is safe in Kenya, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has said, saying that the Jubilee government has failed to secure Kenyans.
Joho, speaking in the aftermath of the killing of businessman Jacob Juma by unknown gunmen Thursday night says that the manner in which Kenyans are being executed is very worrying.
" The manner in which Kenyans are being executed is worrying. It shows a serious lack of security in the country," he stated.
Juma was shot at ten times and was found dead in his Mercedes Benz along Ngong road Thursday at 10 PM.
The motive of his killing is yet to be known but thanks to his outspoken nature and penchant for stalking public officials, indications have pointed at the motive of the killing being politically inclined.
" The government has shown on a number of occasions that it has failed to secure Kenyans from forces of evil," he added.
Police have started probing the murder of Juma.
