Jubilee Governor demands direct ticket for 2017 elections

Nairobi - A Jubilee Party Governor says that he wants a direct nomination ticket for the 2017 General Elections.
Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua says that he deserves a direct ticket for putting in very hard work into the party.
" We spent more than half our terms establishing government and
administrative structures. With devolution being new, we would have done
much, but we can do more if our parties allow us an opportunity," said
Kinuthia, who was elected on a TNA ticket.

" The work we will put in ensuring that we get the ticket for the governorship can be used to campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta," he added.
According to President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto, there will be no direct nominations in a bid to ensure that Jubilee unity is kept intact.
