Jubilee eye CORD rebel Mutua

Nairobi - Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua is set to quit the Wiper Democratic Movement with the Jubilee Coalition circling.
The Governor has fallen out with his party leader and CORD co principal Kalonzo Musyoka and is set to leave the party.
Already, Wiper leaders have already spoken about the ongoing issue and urged Kalonzo to kick out Mutua.
Machakos Senator Johnstone Muthama has already urged Kalonzo to take action.
" The party leader cannot be disrespected," he stated Monday.
Mutua has said he has no qualms about leaving the party if it means vindicating his stand that Kalonzo has been a serial under-performer.
It is also thought that the Jubilee Coalition is keen on the former government spokesman.
They see him as a good option in the Ukambani region in their bid to spread the Jubilee wing.
" Key members of the party are watching the situation closely. He is an interesting option," a source in the know told News24.
Mutua feels he has enough support in the region to get him back to the seat in the 2017 polls, it is understood.
