Jubilee MP sues Kidero

Nairobi - Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu has sued Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero.
Waititu has sued parties including Kidero, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision IEBC over a ruling on his petition against the Nairobi Governor.
The Kabete MP filed a case at the Supreme Court on Monday for the review of a judgment that declared Evans Kidero Nairobi Governor, following his petition.
Also sued are Jonathan Mueke, IEBC chairman Issack Hassan, the Nairobi county returning officer, the AG, DCIO Gigiri and Kayole and IG Joseph Boinnet.
Waititu says that bribery allegations against Supreme Court Judge Philip Tunoi raise integrity issues concerning the August 2014 judgment whixh declared Kidero winner.
Tunoi is alleged to have received a KES 200 million bribe to help deliver a favourable judgement in in the petition by Waititu.
" In light of the serious allegations it is the petitioner's request to have the judgement rescinded over bribery allegations," he said of the allgations.
Waititu has been given 14 days to hand his petition to the co accused.
