Nairobi - Join Raila Odinga or face political exile, MP tells FORD Kenya leader Moses Wetang'ula.
The Lugari MP Ayub Savula has said that unless the three CORD leaders unite, they will lose the 2017 elections.
According to Savula, a change of tact is required in the opposition coalition headed by Raila Odinga, and
co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper Party) and Bungoma Senator Moses
Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya).
Unless so, they will lose.
“We have less than one year to the
elections. The opposition needs to consolidate and agree on an
appropriate formula to pick a presidential candidate,” he said.
three CORD leaders have declared they will be on the presidential
ballot for the August 8 general election, but several politicians have
criticised them this is a recipe for failure.
Wetang'ula especially has been vocal but according to Savula, he must stick with Raila at all costs.
" If Wetang'ula leaves CORD, his political career will be over," he stated.
