Jirongo endorses Mudavadi for Presidency

Nairobi - Former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo has backed Musalia Mudavadi for the presidency in 2017.
Jirongo, speaking to News24 stated that he would back Mudavadi as he is the only one able to unify Luhya people and enable the community be able to bargain nicely come the next polls.
He says that leaders from parties must come and negotiate with Luhyas and that it is the only way they will be able to get headway in the region.
" The vote of Jirongo and Luhyas will go to Musalia Mudavadi," he said.
" Mudavadi is the only one capable of uniting Luhyas and making it a united front. That is what the community and region needs at all costs," he added.
Mudavadi is contesting the Presidency in 2017 via the Amani National Congress ANC.
Jirongo says that the Jubilee government must be kicked out of government at all costs.
" The Jubilee government is a mes and the biggest problem facing Kenya and must be kicked out of power," he continued.
Mudavadi says that he has no intentions of forming a coalition prior to the election and believes that the Luhya vote will give him an excellent chance of taking the election.
