Nairobi - I am yet to join the Jubilee Party, a Rift Valley MP has said.
Alfred Keter says that he is yet to join the Jubilee Party and insists that despite the United Republican Party URP dissolving, he has yet to shift to the new coalition.
Keter says that at present he is still a URP member until the party dissolves.
" I am still in URP. We are in existence," he said Wednesday.
Keter has been against the dissolution of the party to join the Jubilee Party in the past but says that he is for supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta for the 2017 polls.
" I have always said that I will support the President come 2017. That has not changed," he added.
The Jubilee Party has seen some opposition from members of the URP over its dissolution bu the President and Deputy William Ruto have stated that they will complete the merger of parties come September 2016 as they seek to form a united front.
