Nairobi - I've left ODM, Kisii Deputy Governor tells President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto.
Joash Maangi said that he had decided to back the Jubilee Coalition come the 2017 polls because he believes that they are development oriented.
He stated that he and the people of Kisii County would support the Jubilee Coalition come the next polls.
" I can assure you that the people of Kisii are fully behind the move to support the Jubilee Coalition," he said at State House Wednesday after accompanying a group of MCA's to meet the President and DP.
He stated that there was clamour for growth in the region and that Kisii people had heeded the call.
" We have supported the opposition and now we want to be a part of government," he added.
Maangi is among a group of leaders from the region that have openly stated that they will support the Jubilee Coalition come the 2017 polls.
