Investigate Justice Majanja, Kalembe Ndile demands

Kibwezi - Former Kibwezi West MP and The Independent Party (TIP) leader, Kalembe Ndile wants Justice Majanja investigated over the dismissal of his petition challenging the now Kibwezi MP, Patrick Musimba in the 2013 general elections.
Kalembe claims that Justice Majanja was compromised by his opponent in the polls by receiving a bribe to turn tables against him in the ruling.
Kalembe’s claims come in the wake of allegations that Supreme Court Judge Philip Tunoi received KES 200M bribe from Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero to rule in his favour in a petition filed against him by his competitor in the 2013 gubernatorial race, Ferdinand Waititu.
The former Kibwezi legislator argues that it is possible that the judges who sat to rule in the petitions are all involved in the scam.

He now wants the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) to investigate Majanja besides Justice Philip Tunoi. Kalembe also alleges that while presiding over his petition, Majanja received some amount of money.
“We re-counted the votes and it emerged that I had won the race but Justice Majanja overturned this. He should therefore be investigated,” Kalembe was quoted saying.
Kalembe wants the Chief Justice to handle his case with the same weight as that of Justice Philip Tunoi and the whole lot of courts in the country, saying the entire Judiciary is controlled by a few corrupt individuals.
