Nairobi - An ODM MP says that he is ready to quit the party and seek a fresh mandate from the members of the public.

According to Mung'aro, he is not afraid to head to the ballot.
This follows calls by ODM leader Raila Odinga to those leaders who have quit ODM to resign and face the polls if they are not cowards.
" I am ready to resign. I said that I have moved to Jubilee not because I want to. but the people also want to," he told News24.
He accused the ODM leader of hounding MPs who had chosen to work with the ruling coalition, saying that the former Prime Minister had made the party undemocratic.
" I was kicked out of ODM because I had a different opinion to the party. That shows you the level of democracy within it," he added.
Mung'aro is among 13 MPs and other leaders whop have been written to being asked to relinquish their positions and face by elections if they have chosen to quit ODM and join the newly formed Jubilee Party.
