Nairobi - I'm not leaving ODM at all, MP insists despite rumours.
Funyula MP Paul Otuoma insists that despite his decision to quit senior ODM leadership, he is still in the party and that he has no plans to leave.
Other MPs have been linked with moves to the ruling Jubilee Coalition including Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba but according to Otuoma, he is going nowhere.
" I have stated before and I will say again. I am not leaving ODM," he told News24.
He stated that he had issues with the party but that effort was being put into ensuring that they are solved.
" We have already started talks on how to clear these issues and they will be dealt with accordingly, I can assure you," he added.
Namwamba is keen on leaving ODM and has attacked party leader Raila Odinga on a number of occasions about his leadership style, something which Otuoma wont do.
" We will hold discussions on how to deal with our problems behind the scenes and then announce them later," he added.
Otuoma says he will defend his seat come 2017 on the party.
