Nairobi - ODM lacks direction which is why I'm moving to the Jubilee Coalition, a senior official has said.
Kwale deputy governor Fatuma Achani says that she has decided to jump to the Jubilee Coalition since they have not got anywhere supporting Raila Odinga the CORD leader for the last 10 years.
She lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta for his forward thinking leadership style and claimed that Raila has nothing more to offer the region.
" I am going to support Jubilee in 2017 because they have shown a willingness to develop the county despite us not being in government. The President has shown that he is with us despite all that happened in the past and that is the kind of politics we want," she told News24 on phone.
She accused Raila of not working to help the nation grow and instead divinding the nation.
" We are tired of politics of rhetoric. We want development and as you can see, the President has shown that he wants to develop every corner of the country," she added.
The move by Achani comes in the wake of Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya also stating that he is jumping ship to the Jubilee Coalition to seek re-election come the 2017 elections.
