Nairobi - I will never join the Jubilee Coalition,
CORD Co principal Kalonzo Musyoka says.
Kalonzo told News24 that the interest in
him joining Jubilee, as raised by Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko is a waste of
He argued that if he had any chance of
becoming President it would be in the CORD Coalition.
“There is no chance Il be joining Jubilee
before the 2017 elections,” he said.
He added that he had already formed a
unified front with CORD co principals Raila Odinga and Moses Wetangula formed
out of mutual respect and that he was not willing to go back on it.
“I said before that I am here because we
have a vision that can be achieved with the CORD Coalition and we are on the
way to achieving it,” he added.
Sonko had over the weekend urged Kalonzo to
join Jubilee, claiming he does not stand a chance at getting nominated as the
opposition’s presidential candidate.
But Kalonzo sees it differently.
“With all due respect to the Senator, he is
in Jubilee and should leave CORD matters alone”.
