Nairobi - I turned down President Uhuru Kenyatta, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has said.
Mudavadi, who has been under pressure to quit his presidential campaign and join one of the bigger candidates for the 2017 polls says he is still going strong for the elections.
" I am not taking any offers. There are offers everyday but I am staying in the Presidential race to the end," he said.
Mudavadi, when pressed on whether indeed there have been offers from the ruling Jubilee Coalition stated that he was going nowhere.
" That boat has sailed. Those are bygones," he added.
Mudavadi says that he is looking to win the Luhya vote which he feels can take him to State House.
" The issue is Luhya unity. As long as we are a united front then the Luhya people will have a big say come the 2017 elections," he added.
Mudavadi came third in the 2013 General Elections.
