Nairobi - I turned down DP William Ruto’s overtures, an ODM MP has
Geoffrey Odanga, who is MP for Matayos says that he has been
approached by several intermediaries for the ruling Jubilee Coalition but he is
happy in ODM.
He added that he is keen to ensure that Luhyas vote for the
former Prime Minister come the 2017 elections and that they grow from his

here and my people have stated that they want me in ODM,” he told News24 in Nairobi.
Odanga accused the Jubilee government of using underhand
tactics to try sway support their way in opposition strongholds.
“They are trying to unsettle the region in the promise of
delivering development which they have failed to during their first term. What
will change when they come back?” he added.
Odanga says he will lead a caucus of ODM leaders to campaign
continuously for Raila in the run-up to the 2017 elections after what he termed
as a very successful tour by the Orange party leader last week in the region.
