Nairobi - I have not moved to the CORD Coalition, KANU chief says.
Nick Salat says that he is still in KANU and there to stay and that he has no plans of moving to CORD.
He stated that as KANU Secretary general, he is happy at the party and trying his best to build its national outlook to where it once was.
" We are happy to partner with other partners but moving there? No," he told News24.
He stated that KANU was in fact fighting CORD and the Jubilee Coalition to ensure that a new rule which stops potential candidates shifting parties at the last minute is not implemented.
" The two parties including CORD are looking to stifle the rest and we will not agree," he added.
Salat was rumoured to be joining CORD after he participated in the IEBC protests against his party's policy earlier this year.
