Nairobi - I have not left the Jubilee Coalition, former MP says.
Margaret Wanjiru, the former Starehe MP says that she is still firmly in the Jubilee Coalition and is going nowhere despite reports that she is.
Wanjiru, who is vying for the Nairobi Governor's seat, says that she is still in Jubilee and will fight to the end to secure the nomination slot for the right to face Governor Evans Kidero come the 2017 polls.
And despite being the outsider in a tough looking race, she says she is not going to quit for another party.
" I am in Jubilee to stay and those saying otherwise are dreaming," she told News24.
She added that despite being in a tough race, she is confident that she will come up trumps at the end of the day.
" At the end of the day, I a certain that I will come out on top come the race. The grassroots speak different to those choosing to speak without knowledge of what is going on," she added.
Wanjiru will face off with Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko, Dagoretti MP Dennis Waweru, nominated MP Johnstone Sakaja and former Devolution CS Anne Waiguru for the Jubilee ticket early next year.
