Nairobi - An ODM Governor says that he has not defected to the Jubilee Coalition.
David Nkedianye the Kajiado Governor says that rumours that he has moved to the Jubilee Coalition are fiction.
He says that he is still a member of ODM and that if he will make changes he will do so come 2017 and not at present.
He states that at the moment he is concentrating on developing the county and that politics is not on his mind.
" I am still in ODM. Those reports stating otherwise are false," he told News24.
He says that the people of Kajiado will point him in the necessary direction for him to move in come 2017 and that at the moment all that is on his mind is nation building.
" The stories of me moving here and there are irrelevant. At the moment we are building the County," he added.
Nkedianye will face serious competition come 2017 for his seat, with former Interior CS Joseph Ole Lenku set to join the race for the seat come the 2017 polls.
