Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto has denied claims that he has 'bought' beleaguered ODM Secretary General Ababu Namwamba.
The Deputy President Sunday said the allegations that he is behind the purported plan by the Budalang'i MP to leave ODM is both misplaced and malicious.
Ruto who was speaking in Webuye during the burial of the mother of the area MP Dan Wanyama wondered if the the legislator was incapable of making an independent decision.
" I am shocked that I am now being linked to a scheme to recruit Ababu and others Western Kenya MPs to Jubilee. Let those spreading this propaganda know the MPs are not little children," he explained.
"I am not the ODM party boss to influence their decision to join another political vehicle, "added Ruto, distancing himself from the current crisis that has emerged in the Raila Odinga led party.
