I don't want to be the next Chief Justice, says Martha Karua

Nairobi - Narc Kenya party leader, Martha Karua has revealed that she will not yield to the pressure of succeeding retired Chief Justice Willy Mutunga.
The former Justice Minister who in the last election unsuccessfully contested for the Presidency said she is not keen to take the post.

Speaking on local TV Sunday, she said: "I am busy with my party Narc Kenya and no one can pressurize me to go for the Chief Justice position. I am still in politics."
"Before I go for anything, I have to consider and accept it first. I have not done that for the post previously held by Willy Mutunga," explained Ms Karua.
