I am not dead, former leader says

Eldoret - Former powerful Cabinet Minister, Nicholas Kipyator Biwott has refuted reports on social media that he has died.
Biwott said such reports are malicious and ill intended.
"I want to condemn the reports circulating on the social media that am dead. As you can see, am as fit as a fiddle and it's unfortunate for one to come up with such rumours."

Speaking to journalists in Eldoret town, Biwott said the rumours were being spread by evil people abusing freedom brought by the social media.
"I call upon all social media users to ignore such unfortunate rumours," he said.
"I am fine and in good health. Social media users need to ignore this false and malicious information," he said.
He however gave a warning to such individuals saying that they may face arrest and prosecution in the near future.
