Nairobi - An MP says that she is considering moving to the Jubilee Coalition after quitting CORD.
Garsen MP Halima ware told News24 that she is considering the change if her people feel it is the best move to make but that at present she is happy in CORD.
“It depends on the people. They are the ones to say. If they want Halima to move to a different party, so it will be. If not, I stay here,” she added.
In a recent tour to Garsen, Deputy President William Ruto asked Ware to quit the CORD Coalition as it lacks direction but the MP was guarded about it.
“I am in CORD and as much as I would like to work with government, at the moment I’m doing so as a member of the opposition,” she added.
The MP says that she will officially announce her intentions early in 2017 but that she is keen on contesting for her seat come the time.
