How to surprise your man?

Nairobi - One thing I do not know how to do: buying a
man a present.
First because they are so expensive. It is
not like the way you get lucky with ladies stuff like shoes. You can get really
nice shoes for a woman with Kshs1000; try finding an equally nice pair for a
Second, men do not do card. My little
sister once made a card for Father’s Day for my father. He read it, exclaimed
how nice it was, said thank you and then gave it back to her.
Men do not do cards. My ex once got some
for his birthday, he gave them to me. They were from friends and the like, so
instead of the man keeping them, he gave them back to me.
So what do you get a man that is nice to
you and gives you loads of gifts as well?
You can try get things that are actually
what he likes, cakes and dinners are so expected and the man will appreciate it
but in the long run there are just some things that he likes and wants.
Free pass, not like in the one in that
movie where the guy could sleep with as many women as he wants. But a pass when
he does something that he needed to, you do not chop his head off.
Another free pass is where he can go and
just do things with his boys without you terrorizing him. A dinner with you vs.
good old time being clowns at the bar. He desires the last especially at a time
when you want him to go to a wedding. Not that he does not like spending time
with you, it is just about it being something you would normally do, we enjoy
it more for our birthdays as compared to them men. At times, you just have to
let a man be and do some things on your own. That is how you meet new people.
You don’t always have to have him around.
Things he will actually like or gadgets are
technically what work for men as gifts. Expensive but if you can do it that is
what it is. Cards is an epic fail even if you made it with love.
