How to make a move on your crush

19 November 2015, 09:41 Carol Chebet

Making a move on your crush can be tough. Everyone fears rejection - men and women alike. However, there are different approaches that can be taken even if you still need to have the confidence and determination to see the process through.

Here are a few tips that can help you make a move on your crush with ease:

1. Have confidence. This is crucial although achieving it is not as easy as you think. You can start exercising on building courage by striking up conversations with new people around you. Do not forget that even if your crush may also be interested in you, he/she may feel good that you expressed your feelings.

2. Choose an appropriate time. Do not storm him/her when they are busy. Just find time when he/she is not very busy and is in a good mood. Do not draw attention, just approach her/him even when they are alone and do not forget to be casual and relaxed.

3. Use positive body language. Smile a lot, and allow yourself to feel relaxed in your crush’s company. He /she may pick this up and interpret it as confidence. Practice relaxing by taking in and out deep breathes to reduce tension.

4. Ask your crush out. Ask him or her for a cup of coffee but please do not make it as big as an invitation to a party. Just a simple indicator that you are interested in him/her. This should seem casual so that neither of you feels pressured or intimidated.
