How Nairobians eat their way to death

Have you ever wondered why there are many lifestyle diseases in the contemporary society than in medieval times?
The answer to the question may be hidden in your plate. It is common knowledge that we should eat to live. However, current reports indicate that people nowadays are eating their way to death.
Starting from genetically modified organisms (GMO), food poisoning, junk food and unhygienic lifestyles all show the slow but sure feeding decadence in the modern society.
Many diseases mentioned in the mainstream media result from poor eating habits. Recently, animal products were identified as the major cause of cancer, raising brows among meat lovers.

The main point of focus in this post is to expose poisonous bananas in the market. In Nairobi for example, many reports out there indicate that merchants are using Calcium Carbide to quicken the ripening process of bananas. What bewilders me most are the health implications of the banana on the consumer.
Mine was an eye opener since I am not cursing anybody. I am pretty sure that there are many legitimate ways of creating wealth. If in doubt, find other ways of eking out a living.
After all, we all know that prevention is better than cure.
