Heed Kibaki advice, Raila tells Uhuru

Nairobi - President Uhuru Kenyatta should heed the advice of former president Mwai Kibaki and listen to the opposition, CORD leader Raila Odinga has said.
Speaking on arrival into the country from a trip to North Africa and the United Kingdom, the CORD leader stated that the wise words of former President Kibaki should not go to waste.
" I congratulate the retired President for being bold enough to say the truth and that the current regime should listen to the opposition," he said at the Eka Hotel in Nairobi.
Kibaki said in a function last week that the President should listen to the opposition at times because they actually do make sense on some occasions.
" The opposition is not always wrong and the President is not always right. He should listen to the opposition too," he remarked in Nyeri last week.
The President has yet to show any signs of accepting the plea, with he and deputy William Ruto instead embarking on an attack on the opposition leadership during the recent tour of Western Kenya.
