Groove awards Winners and Losers

Nairobi - The groove awards have been the corner stone of the gospel industry since its inception, celebrating local talents in the genre for their musical achievements. this years awards saw one of the most diverse groups of nominees, with industry heavyweights being put up against and losing to newer artists.

The biggest winner of the night was as expected Mercy Masika, who bagged a total of three awards including female artist of the year. She was joined by the likes of L-Jay Maasai, who shockingly beat industry heavyweights like Pitson and Daddy Owen to the prize of male artist of the year.
