Grisly accident along Nairobi-Nakuru highway leaves 4 dead

Nakuru - Four people died on the spot Tuesday afternoon after a Nissan matatu they were travelling in collided head on with a bus along the Nakuru - Nairobi highway.
The accident, which occurred at a black-spot near St. Mary's hospital, involved a Nissan matatu and a passenger bus.
Gilgil OCPD, Sera Koki confirmed the accident saying that nine people were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

"Four people died on the spot while nine are admitted in serious condition,"said Koki.
The bus was heading to Nairobi while the matatu owned by North Rift Sacco was heading to Eldoret.
Police are looking for the driver of the bus who took off after the accident.
