Nairobi - A Governor who has recently quit ODM for the Jubilee Party wants to return to the Orange caucus, Raila Odinga says.
According to Raila, Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya is on his way back to the party. Allegedly.
Mvurya left ODM for the Jubilee Party citing the fact that he has not been assured a direct ticket to the 2017 elections as his main motive.
But according to Raila, all those who have left ODM are regretting and some will be back soon.
" Some leaders have said that they are already tired of Jubilee and will be back in ODM," Raila told a gathering of officials at Orange House Nairobi in reference to Mvurya.
He said that those who quickly left for Jubilee in the past were blinded.
" You will see major defections. Jubilee is not what many think it is," he added.
Mvurya has already been offered a way back into ODM by Raila but has refused to acknowledge it, stating that he is happy in the new Jubilee Party.
